Join us at Village Au Pied-du-Courant for a day of celebration and painting !

Throughout the summer, in partnership with the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Black Joy MTL invites you to a workshop series celebrating Black cultures. "Wear your colors and emotions with pride" was created visual artist Teen Adultt.

The workshop given by visual artist Michaëlle Sergile, invites the public to reflect on Montreal and more specifically on Little Burgundy as a shifting history. Little Burgundy, a neighborhood known for the many contributions of Montreal's black communities, has become over time a space filled with historical remnants and memories. Through textile interventions on printed fabrics, the artist invites the public to take a moment to exchange, to weave and especially to discuss this neighborhood that continues to mark our history.

In partnership with @mbamtl, the Black Joy MTL's team invite you all to take part in this artistic workshop created and facilitated by multidisciplinary visual artist Anna Binta Diallo.
